Groundwater Causes Damage in Bethpage

The heavy rains soaked into the exterior paneling of this house in Bethpage. The seepage caused water damage to the drywall, trim, and carpet, as shown in the Before Photo. Our SERVPRO team arrived swiftly; We're Faster To Any Size Disaster, to mitigate the storm damage. We did a controlled demolition to remove the soaked sheetrock and rolled back the carpet. Typically the water is contaminated, but this was from a driving rain in the driveway, so the water was not filthy. We managed to dry the brick siding, studs (added an antifungal primer), and the concrete pad. We monitored the drying of the concrete, and within two days, we could reconstruct this storm-damaged area.
